Bill Roper is a video game developer who, while working at Blizzard Entertainment, was one of the key people responsible for creating and developing Diablo franchise. Bill left Blizzard after a while and created his own studio named Flagship Studios, which released a Diablo-like game Hellgate: London. Due to the lack of money, Flagship had to prematurely release Hellgate: London and was closed soon after the release.
